Here is the high school band. Our neighbor Kayla is in the front just right of center. She plays the flute as well and sometimes gives Leah lessons.

Okay, I have to ask...how do you guys keep up with all your kiddos activities? You make it look so easy. Your kids seem to be so involved. With four now, it just seems that I am constantly having to just say no to things. And it isn't like we just sit around and do nothing, but I feel like I had Jaidyn and Addy so much more involved in things when they were younger...gymnastics, library story hour, play dates etc. And sometimes I feel like Levi gets jipped because I am not able to do those types of activities with him...although he isn't even 3 yet. But we are signing him up for a short t-ball league this summer.
ReplyDeletePS - I just love the pics you post. Your kids are too cute!
Hi Jenny! Thank you for your compliments. So far of our children Leah is the only one who's involved in several things. We are trying to get the others interested in doing more, but so far they have just done soccer. Jenna has done a couple of dance programs but she's pretty shy. I'm going to try to get the boys interested in baseball this Spring and Summer. They mostly just like to play around in our house (Wii) and play outside with the dogs and horses. We want to get Leah involved in 4H and dancing, because she seems to have natural ability and it's something she enjoys. She is also going to start taking riding lessons with her horse. They all like to go to their school's skating parties of which there are 4 each school year. Overall we are much like you - we don't think we are doing enough yet, but we are still always busy. Plus consider that you have a baby in your family and babies take more time and energy to care for each day (and night). I vaguely remember those days - Leah was the only one we received while she was still a baby. Plus the more children we have in our families the less individual attention we tend to have for each of them. Still, having a larger family is great - isn't it! I just think each of our kids are great in their own ways, and I really enjoy being being one of their parents, being in a family with them.
