Well it's Spring again, so that means April Fool's Day and Alexander's 9th Birthday!
We also received our children's Spring 2011 school pictures back, and here they are...
**********For kindergarten in Ryan and Jenna's class they each receive colors at the end of each school day which indicate how well they behaved and participated in class for that day. The colors are blue = excellent, green = good, yellow = Oh Oh, and red and orange are different kinds of bad. If the little ones get all blues and greens for a whole month we buy them a toy they want. Jenna always gets blues and greens so she always has gotten a toy each month so far, but this is the first month that Ryan did as well - no yellows! Way to go Ryan! Here they are with their toys they each picked out.
It was our April Fool Birthday boy's 9th birthday last Friday, so here's Alex with his pikachu cake that Cheryl made for him (and us). Happy Birthday Alex!!!

The next day the kids started Spring Soccer, everyone but Benjamin who didn't want to play this year. This was Jenna's first soccer game ever, and she scored 3 of her teams 4 goals! She was having so much fun and she was laughing and giggling about the whole time she was playing. She gets right in there and gets after the ball, and she knows what to do. It's fun to watch her play.
Ryan is on Jenna's team. He scored the other goal. It was also his first game ever.

Leah's team had to play a double header, and they lost them both. The main thing is they enjoyed themselves.
On Sunday I finally assembled a merry-go-round that we had sitting unassembled in a box in our garage all winter long. The kids seemed to enjoy it OK.
It was raining while they were playing on the merry-go-round. Below is a short video of them playing in the rain...
